About The Role





Sylvanvale provides services 7 days per week which includemorning, afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts.

This role would suit someone who has the tenacity and confidencein supporting people with complex needs and, at times, behavioursof concern. You will be required to appropriately support clientswith opportunities to reach their individual goals throughmeaningful activities in their home and in the community.

Your role will include:

- Reading and understanding behaviour support plans
- Implementing and recording restrictive practices
- Supporting customers with personal care, bowel care, healthissues and hygiene
- Performing household tasks including menu planning,cooking, and cleaning
- Supporting customers to access and be a part of their localcommunity

About you

- Ability to work as part of a team and well asindividually.
- Willingness to work active nights when required.
- Understanding of Behaviour Support Plans and restrictivepractices or willingness to learn.
- Relevant qualifications in Disability Support, highlyadvantageous.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communicationskills.

Successful applicants will require a current NSW Drivers Licenceand First Aid Certificate. The offer will be subject to a policeclearance, a pre-employment medical, proof of work rights and aNDIS Worker Screening Check.
