Key responsibilities include:

- Customer experience – provide and ensure customers are given exceptional customer service.
- Coffee production – prepare a variety of coffee and beverages according to Merlo standards.




- Team management & succession planning – Effectively communicate with all staff to ensure they align with the store and Merlo Coffee's goals. Coach and mentor staff to consistently exceed expectations in their role.
- Financial management – Ensure the store reaches its short- and long-term goals and budgets.
- Store management – Ensure the store is held to a high level of cleanliness and all food and workplace safety procedures are followed including stock and quality control.

About you

The ideal candidate will have:

- Full-Time available: 5 days on (Sunday to Thursday), 2 days off.
- A proven aptitude and experience in staff management.
- Strong passion for coffee and commitment to the success of Merlo.
- High volume, coffee making experience.
- Demonstrated ability to train, coach and develop staff.
- A keen interest in long term career progression within the business.
- Minimum 6-12 months of staff management experience required.
- A fun, hardworking and energetic attitude towards work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills.
