About Us
Touch Football Australia (TFA) is the national governing body for Touch Football in Australia. Through our strategic alliance with the NRL and collaboration with State and Territory partners, we deliver opportunities from grassroots participation through to international representation.
About The Role
Reporting to the Officiating Performance and Pathways Manager, this role is responsible for growing and strengthening the community officiating workforce across Australia. You will coordinate education programs, support community referee pathways, champion diversity initiatives and work closely with volunteers, affiliates and State and Territory partners to improve the referee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver referee recruitment and retention initiatives across Australia.
- Support diversity and inclusion programs within officiating.
- Coordinate referee and referee coach education programs, webinars and resources.
- Support delivery of the Referee Education and Development Framework.
- Provide operational and administrative support for national and state events and programs
- Build strong relationships with affiliates, referee panels and volunteers.
- Analyse participation and workforce data to identify trends and opportunities.
About You
You are a strong coordinator and relationship builder who enjoys working with volunteers and sporting communities. You bring excellent communication skills, an understanding of community sport and a passion for creating positive development opportunities for officials.
