Job Description

Yoogali Engineering specialises in manufacturing and erecting structural steel work for building, ranging from rural sheds to large scale developments for the Industrial, Commercial and Construction industry. We are currently recruiting for qualified an experienced Blaster Painters to join our team in Griffith NSW. Successful candidates will need to undertake and possess:

- Surface preparation of steel for painting, safely using chemicals and a range of hand tools
- Clean, wash, strip, sand, remove corrosion, fill dents or otherwise prepare fabricated steel item for application of paint and or other protective coatings.
- Operate various equipment, such as blast pots and spray guns




- Knowledge of various painting methods and applications
- Sandblasting, abrasive and chemical techniques, masking and etching of applications.
- Ability to apply all types of coatings using various application methods

Skills & Abilities:

- Certificate III in Surface preparation / Certificate III in Painting Decorating or relevant
- Ideally have 3 years experience within relevant or similar field

Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000 commensurate with experience Fulltime positions available Application opens on 13th of July 2026 and closes on 13th of August 2026.
