We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and hands-on Site Supervisor to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on some of Melbourne's largest and most prestigious commercial construction projects alongside leading builders.

About the Role

This is a hands-on supervisory position where you will coordinate day-to-day site activities while working alongside the installation crew when required. You will liaise with builders, project managers, and our internal team to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on programme.

You will be responsible for organising labour, coordinating installation sequences, solving problems on site, and ensuring work is completed to the highest standard.

Our Scope of Works

You will be involved in a wide variety of projects, including:

- Stainless steel balustrades
- Glass and architectural balustrading systems




- Commercial and architectural stair installations
- Heavy structural steel installation
- General structural steel
- Feature architectural steel
- Platforms, gantries and access systems
- General fabrication and installation
- Rigging and lifting operations

Our projects range from commercial developments and shopping centres through to large-scale, high-profile construction projects with some of Melbourne's biggest builders.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate fabrication, installation and rigging works.
- Coordinate daily activities with builders, site management and subcontractors.
- Manage installation sequencing and programme requirements.
- Carry out site set-outs and interpret construction drawings and red-line drawings.
- Organise labour, plant, materials and equipment.
- Lead by example and assist the team on the tools when required.
- Monitor quality, productivity and workmanship.
- Identify and resolve site issues quickly and effectively.
- Maintain excellent communication with clients, builders and internal staff.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with Victorian construction standards.

About You

You will have:

- Experience with structural steel and architectural metalwork projects.




- Experience working on Tier 1 and Tier 2 commercial construction projects throughout Melbourne.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and people management skills.
- The ability to multitask and manage several work fronts simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work alongside the team.
- A strong commitment to safety, quality and productivity.

Essential Qualifications & Tickets

- Construction White Card
- High Risk Work Licence - Rigging
- Boilermaker/Fabrication Trade Qualification (preferred)
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Licence
- Scissor Lift competency
- Current Verification of Competency (VOC) for all relevant plant and equipment
- Current Victorian construction industry tickets applicable to the role
- Current Driver Licence
