Gumboots Early Learning is expanding and we are looking for an experienced centre manager for our brand new centre located in Reservoir, Victoria.

Our beautiful centre boasts 7 spacious learning studios with a seperate interactive piazza/dining space, dedicated art studio, sensory room with an abudance of natural light, modern facilities and amazing outdoor play yards.

Gumboots Early Learning is privately owned and operated by experienced Directors who are hands on, and provide the necessary support to ensure our high standards of quality care and education are met.

We have a strong focus on quality and excellence and our extra-curricular activities. We take excellent pride in our engaging learning environments, high quality pedagogy and sustainability.

Your NewRole

We are looking for an experienced Centre Director. You will be required to oversee the full operation of the day to day running of the centre including recruitment, rosters, compliance, staff development working on budgets and driving utilisation. You will use your previous experience in a similar role to ensure the high standards of the centre are maintained and have strong interpersonal skills to create an inclusive environment for children,



families and our educators. Whilst you will be able to work autonomously and must be able to make decisions, you will have the full support of our General Manager and Centre Owner to achieve a successful centre and excellence.

The Candidate

You must have previous experience in a Centre Director position.

You must be:

- A strong leader and be able to manage all aspects of the daily running of the centre
- Have excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and connections with our families and children
- Be a strong and supportive leader to you team
- Have experience with recruitment process to ensure you are recruiting the right people for our team
- Must be responsive, passionate and meet deadlines
- With your knowledge of the Early Childhood sector you will guide your team, to provide high quality care and education, establish and maintain beautiful engaging environments guided by the Gumboots vision and philosophy.

Suitable applicants must have:

- Diploma of Children Services
- Level 2 First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certification
- WWCC
