We are seeking an experienced and passionate Pharmacy Retail Manager to join Western suburb pharmacy in Melbourne in Deer Park VIC 3023. This is a full-time position that offers a fantastic opportunity to lead and manage all aspects of our retail operations. As pharmacy retail manager, you will be instrumental in driving sales, ensuring exceptional customer service, and creating a welcoming environment that reflects our commitment to community health and wellbeing. You will report to senior management and have direct responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the store, including staff management, inventory control, visual merchandising, and achieving sales targets.

What you’ll be doing

- Leading and inspiring a team of retail staff to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales objectives
- Managing daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and till reconciliation
- Overseeing inventory management, stock rotation, and ordering to maintain optimal product availability
- Creating and maintaining attractive visual merchandising displays to maximise product visibility and sales
- Implementing and monitoring compliance with health, safety and company policies
- Recruiting, training, and developing retail team members to enhance their skills and performance
- Analysing sales data and key performance indicators to identify trends and opportunities for growth
- Managing customer feedback and resolving complaints to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Implementing promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives to drive footfall and sales
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting on store performance to management

What we’re looking for

- Proven experience as a Retail Manager or in a similar supervisory retail position within the pharmacy or consumer goods sector
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members




- Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to build positive relationships with customers and staff
- Solid understanding of retail operations, including inventory management, stock control and visual merchandising
- Proficiency with retail management systems and point-of-sale (POS) technology
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and financial reports
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and public holidays as required by retail operations
- Knowledge of pharmacy retail or healthcare products is advantageous but not essential
- Certificate III or IV in Retail Management or equivalent experience is highly valued
