What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with:
A formal trade qualification as a Refrigeration Mechanic (Cert III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent experience)
Extensive, demonstrated expertise in breakdowns,
servicing and technical fault finding across refrigeration and air conditioning equipment
Strong diagnostic ability and a knack for solving complex technical issues independently
Sound knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical controls and componentry
A commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship
Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently or in a team
About the Role
We're sourcing a Refrigeration Mechanic with extensive hands-on knowledge of breakdowns, servicing and technical fault finding. As part of the Hextra team, you will:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide variety of refrigeration and air conditioning systems — fault finding is at the core of this role.
Respond to emergency breakdown call-outs and restore systems to peak performance under pressure.
Service and maintain industrial, commercial and residential refrigeration systems through structured preventative maintenance.
Apply deep technical knowledge to complex faults that others can't resolve.
Provide top-notch customer service and build strong relationships with clients.
