About the role Bluefin Resources is looking for multiple Azure DevOps Engineers with significant experience in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) to join a major client in Australia. These positions are initially offered as 12-month contracts, with the potential for extension.

What you’ll do

- Develop and implement current DevOps pipelines within Azure DevOps.
- Oversee the management of deployment processes, including approval gates and pull requests.
- Address and resolve deployment issues as they arise.
- Implement strategies to mitigate risks during deployments, ensuring minimal downtime throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Secure AKS workloads and manage identities by avoiding connection strings and configuring Azure permissions appropriately.

Requirements

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps roles.




- Proficient in Azure DevOps and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and practices.
- Experience with deployment automation and monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.
- Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments.

Nice to have

- Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies beyond AKS.
- Previous experience in a consulting or client-facing role.
