Security Manager for Commercial Building

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 0700–1600
Pay Rate: Security Award Level 5/$90,000 salary package

Monjon Australia is seeking an experienced and motivated Security Manager to lead and oversee all security operations at a key client site. This is a critical leadership role focused on delivering high-quality security services, managing a team of officers, and ensuring a safe and secure environment for clients and tenants.

About the Role

As the Security Manager, you will be responsible for the overall coordination of site security operations, team leadership, and service delivery. You will work closely with the client, tenants, and internal stakeholders to maintain operational excellence and continuous improvement across all security functions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and support onsite security personnel
- Monitor staff performance in collaboration with the Operations Manager
- Oversee and coordinate all security operations across the site
- Assess risks and implement effective security management plans
- Maintain and operate CCTV, alarm, and access control systems
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, coordinating appropriate action




- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, tenants, and stakeholders
- Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation

About You

You are a confident and experienced security professional with strong leadership capability and a proactive approach to risk and operations. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to delivering exceptional service. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in security management is required.

Essential Requirements

- Demonstrated Leadership and People Management skills
- Ability to make a decision and manage multiple priorities
- Customer First Focus
- Certificate IV in Security & Risk Management
- Certificate III in Security Operations
- Current Victorian Security Licence
- Level 2 First Aid & CPR
- AED (Defibrillator) Training
- WHS White Card (or equivalent)
- Chief Warden Training (desirable)
- Experience with Fire Indicator Panels / EWIS systems
