We are seeking a motivated and organised Assistant Broker to work alongside our Senior Broking team, supporting the management of a diverse commercial portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with insurance experience seeking to further develop their broking career in a supportive, professional environment.

About the Role

Working closely with our Senior Broking team, you'll play an integral role in delivering outstanding service to commercial clients while gaining valuable exposure to all aspects of insurance broking.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the day-to-day management of a portfolio of commercial clients
- Preparing renewal documentation, quotations, policy schedules, endorsements and Certificates of Currency
- Liaising with insurers to obtain quotations, negotiate policy terms and arrange documentation
- Assisting with new business, renewals and policy administration
- Maintaining accurate client information within the brokerage management system
- Responding promptly and professionally to client enquiries
- Assisting with claims coordination between clients and insurers
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures

About You

You are organised, proactive and committed to delivering exceptional client service.



You enjoy working in a team-oriented team and are looking to continue building a long-term career in commercial insurance.

You'll ideally have:

- 2-3 years' experience in insurance broking, underwriting or a similar insurance role
- Tier 2 Insurance Broking qualification (essential)
- Currently studying towards, or willing to complete, Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualifications
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Sound Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
- Experience using Insight and OfficeTech Now brokerage systems (highly regarded but not essential)
- Full Australian working rights
