The Role
We are currently seeking a Property, Leasing and Commercial Solicitor who demonstrates a strong interest in this area.
The role will involve assisting and working on matters including:
- Residential, commercial,
and off-the-plan conveyancing
- Commercial and retail leasing (acting for landlords and tenants)
- Property acquisitions and disposals
- Due diligence and property-related advisory work
- General commercial and corporate matters, including:
- Sale and purchase of businesses
- Shareholders’ agreements
- Company structuring and governance
- Contract drafting and review
This is an in-office position based in the Sydney CBD (not a work-from-home role).
Preferred Candidates should have:
- A genuine interest in property, conveyancing, and leasing work
- A strong desire to be an integral part of a cohesive and high-performing team
- Good legal drafting, research, and analytical skills
- Sound understanding of NSW property and leasing frameworks (or willingness to develop this expertise)
- Ability to manage matters with appropriate supervision and increasing autonomy
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to client service
