Job Title: PCaaS Onsite Engineer (End-User Computing)

Full Onsite Role

Shift coverage : local business Hrs (Monday to Friday)

Role Overview

The PCaaS Onsite Engineer is responsible for managing end-user computing devices and delivering seamless IT support at client locations. This includes device lifecycle management, asset tracking, system builds, user coordination, and engagement with vendors/OEMs to ensure high service quality and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Device Lifecycle Management
- Manage end-to-end lifecycle of PCs, laptops, and peripherals (procurement to disposal)
- Perform device provisioning, deployment, refresh, and decommissioning
- Ensure devices comply with organizational standards and security policies

- Asset Management

- Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets in asset management systems (e.g., CMDB)
- Track asset allocation, movement, and audits
- Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements

- Build & Configuration

- Perform OS imaging, configuration, and software installation
- Troubleshoot build-related issues and ensure standard image compliance

- Onsite End-User Support

- Provide hands-on support for hardware, software,



and network issues
- Diagnose and resolve incidents within SLA timelines
- Coordinate with remote support teams when required

- User Coordination

- Act as the primary point of contact for onsite users
- Communicate effectively regarding deployments, incidents, and updates
- Schedule device rollouts, replacements, and support activities
- Coordinate with OEMs (e.g., Dell Technologies, Lenovo, Apple, etc) for hardware support and escalations
- Manage warranty claims, repairs, and part replacements
- Ensure vendor SLAs are met and track service performance
- Handle tickets via ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
- Ensure timely resolution and proper documentation
- Identify recurring issues and propose improvements

- Compliance & Governance

- Follow IT policies, security standards, and compliance requirements
- Support audits and reporting activities
- Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Experience in desktop/laptop support and IT operations
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, hardware troubleshooting, and imaging
- Familiarity with asset management and ITSM tools
- Valuable understanding of networking basics
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently in an onsite environment

Preferred Skills

- Experience with MDM tools (e.g., Intune, SCCM)
- Knowledge of PCaaS models and device lifecycle frameworks
- Exposure to enterprise environments and global support models
- Customer-focused mindset
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Attention to detail in asset tracking and reporting




- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
