Due to continued business growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Quality Technician to join our Norwest team on a 12-month contract.

About the Role

Reporting to the Quality Manager, this hands‑on role provides critical support to manufacturing and warehouse operations. The successful candidate will conduct inspections and testing, support quality investigations, maintain calibrated equipment, and provide day‑to‑day quality support on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform incoming, in-process and final inspections of products against specifications and drawings.
- Record, analyse and report inspection and testing on materials and finished goods.
- Support corrective and preventative action activities and root cause investigations.
- Maintain inspection records and traceability documentation.
- Provide hands‑on quality support to manufacturing and warehouse teams.
- Support inventory accuracy and quality-related stock control activities.

Skills & Experience

- Previous experience in a Quality Technician, Quality Inspector,



or similar manufacturing quality role.
- Experience conducting product inspections and testing.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience using measuring equipment such as callipers, micrometres and gauges.
- Solid attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Excel and business systems.
- Understanding of ISO 9001 quality systems is desirable.

Mandatory Requirements

- Current Forklift Licence.
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
