We’re excited to partner with Care Academy Queensland to welcome an RTO Business Managerto lead the next stage of growth for their RTO operations. This isn’t a traditional compliance led RTO management role. We’re looking for a commercially minded leader with a strong business development backgroundwho enjoys building partnerships, creating opportunities and growing enrolments while leading a passionate team committed to delivering exceptional student experiences.

The Chance
Reporting to the General Manager – Capability & Pathways, you’ll initially focus on strengthening existing partnerships and growing the business before taking full ownership of the operational leadership of the RTO. You’ll inherit an established pipeline of clients, existing partnerships and an experienced team,
allowing you to focus on building sustainable growth while maintaining the exceptional student experience Care Academy is known for.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Growing student enrolments through strategic business development
- Developing new partnerships across aged care, community services and education
- Identifying new commercial opportunities and government funding pathways
- Leading and mentoring an experienced team of trainers and administration staff
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the RTO
- Working closely with Executive to implement future growth strategies
- Supporting quality training outcomes and operational excellence
- Building long-term relationships with employers, industry and community partners
About You
- Proven business development success within education, training or employment services (desirable)
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
- Experience developing strategic partnerships and growing client portfolios
- Strong commercial acumen with a hands-on approach to business development
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- A collaborative leadership style with a genuine passion for people
