About the role

We currently have an opening for a qualified and self-motivated Electrician & Instrumentation Technician. This role is suited to an experienced Electrician & Instrumentation Technician who knows how to manage their workload, take responsibility, and deliver successful outcomes. You’ll work across a broad range of job types in industrial environments. You’re sharp on the tools, Automation, Fault finding, Instrument calibration and Motor control. Maintaining equipment and providing service to ensure efficient plant operation.

Day to day duties include:

- Independent management of assigned work




- Supporting improvements that aim to reduce breakdowns
- Coordinating logistics of jobs with the company administration staff
- Interpreting plans and fault-finding
- Industrial and Commercial electrical maintenance and installation
- Adhering to preventative maintenance programmes
- Maintaining and improving OH&S; standards

Skills and experience:

- Work in commercial environments
- Fault finding & Troubleshooting capabilities
- Pragmatic approach to get things done

What we need

- Possess a current A-Grade Electrical Licence with at least (5) years of industrial experience
- Must be available for after-hours on-call roster
- Experience in the maintenance and repair of water/or wastewater infrastructure
- Current/ Valid driver's licence
- Natural enjoyment of fault-finding in Industrial settings
- Solid understanding of mechanical systems including pipework, valves, pumps, and rotating equipment
- Ability to read and interpret Mechanical and Electrical schematic drawings
- Ability to work autonomously to agreed deadlines
- Ability to connect and build rapport with a range of clients from diverse backgrounds
