This full-time Surgery Booking Officer- Enrolled Nurse role offers an exciting prospect to join a dynamic and innovative healthcare organisation. As a Surgery Booking Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the efficient and effective delivery of specialised medical procedures and surgeries.

What you'll be doing

Coordinating the scheduling and logistics of specialised medical procedures and surgeries

Liaising with patients, medical professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of care

Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to patient procedures and surgeries

Providing administrative support to the surgical and procedures team, including preparing and organising necessary materials and equipment

Conduct nurse assessment before procedures and educate patients for procedures

Ensuring compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards

Identify and escape any clinical concerns to treating specialists

Continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes and enhance the patient experience

What we're looking for

Proven experience in a similar healthcare coordination or administrative role, preferably within a medical speciality practice or hospital setting

Strong organisational and multitasking skills,



with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with patients, medical professionals, and other stakeholders

Proficient in the use of medical and office software (Genie preferred), with the ability to accurately maintain detailed records and documentation

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety

Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and demands within a fast-paced healthcare environment
