Edison Radiology is a new comprehensive, radiologist-led diagnostic imaging practice opening in August 2026, commencing at Mount Waverley with additional sites to follow. We are building a practice that pairs state-of-the-art imaging capability with operational discipline, warm patient care and a strong team culture from day one.
This is a genuine opportunity to join at opening and help establish the systems, standards, workflows and people experience that will define Edison Radiology. Our guiding principle remains, expert imaging, delivered with genuine care.
The Role
As Practice Manager at Edison Radiology, you will lead the day-to-day operation of the Mount Waverley practice and help prepare future sites for launch. You will oversee administration, patient flow, rostering, compliance, billing processes, supplier coordination and local team culture, working closely with clinical leaders to ensure the practice runs smoothly, safely and with a consistently excellent patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily practice operations, including patient flow, front-of-house services, bookings, billing and administrative workflows
- Recruit, roster, support and develop the practice administration team as the site opens and grows
- Work with radiologists, modality leads and support teams to optimise scheduling, patient access and service delivery
- Maintain solid standards for privacy, Medicare and billing accuracy, incident reporting, documentation and accreditation readiness
- Coordinate facilities, consumables, supplier relationships and day-to-day site requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement, reporting and scalable processes for future Edison Radiology sites
What We Look For
- Previous experience managing a radiology practice
- Strong operational leadership, rostering,
team development and problem-solving capability
- Sound understanding of patient administration, Medicare billing, privacy, compliance and quality systems
- Confident communication skills with patients, referrers, clinicians, suppliers and internal teams
- A calm, organised and proactive approach suited to a new practice environment
- Experience with radiology information systems and appointment platforms

About the Team
You will work closely with the Clinical Lead and Consultant Radiologist, alongside modality leads and the broader Edison Radiology team. You will be central to connecting clinical delivery, administration and patient experience as the practice opens and grows.
