Are you an experienced Engineering Lead who enjoys staying hands-on while building high-performing engineering teams? I'm partnering with a growing Australian technology business that's looking for a technical leader to work closely with the CTO, lead an established engineering team, and help shape the next phase of their platform. This is an prospect to join a business where you'll have genuine influence over engineering practices, architecture and delivery—not just people management.
What you'll be doing:
Leading and mentoring a cross-functional engineering team
Remaining hands‐on with C#/.NET development
Driving solution design and architecture decisions
Working closely with Product, Data and executive stakeholders
Improving engineering processes, delivery and team performance
Helping scale a up-to-date cloud-based platform
C#
.NET
React (nice to have)
Databricks exposure is beneficial but not essential
Qualifications




Proven experience leading software engineering teams
Strong .NET and Azure background
Experience designing scalable software solutions
Someone who enjoys mentoring engineers and building strong technical cultures
Comfortable working in a fast‐moving workplace where priorities can evolve quickly
Someone already leveraging AI tools as part of their day‐to‐day software development workflow
