The Role
We are currently seeking enthusiastic, proactive, highly motivated, and experienced Registered Nurses with acute care experience to join our agile Cardiac/Angiography Recovery unit where teamwork is paramount.
You will work alongside a workforce of nursing specialists to care for patients after surgery.
In this role, you'll play a vital part in patient recovery after life-changing cardiac procedures.
Responsibilities
Provide customer focused holistic nursing care
Deliver evidence-based nursing care
Maintain effective communication within the multi‐disciplinary team
Ensure ongoing patient care and staff safety

Qualifications




Current registration with AHPRA – Registered Nurse
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Recovery nursing
Commitment to quality patient care
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
Sound clinical decision‐making and problem‐solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Works well independently and within a team
Postgraduate certificate in Recovery or en route to one
Application Requirements
Applicants will be required to provide a current National Police check, WWCC (where applicable) and evidence of right to work in Australia prior to appointment.
Staff in patient‐contact roles will be required to provide proof of immunity to specified infectious diseases as a Category A Healthcare worker.
