Richmond Crèche and Kindergarten INC is a historic 69 placed Community based Not for Profit Long Day Care Centre that caters for children from 3 months to 5 years. We have been providing quality education and care services to the local Richmond community and surrounding suburbs for over 134 years and pride ourselves on having a supportive work environment, interactions with children,relationships with parents and pride ourselves with community connections. We are an exceeding centre and have a great outdoor play spaces incorporating our natural urban environment.
We are seeking:
Proactive, committed and definitely keen Early Childhood Educators who are willing to learn and work in a kind, supportive team at RCK.
This position can and will suit for a permanent part time (at least 2 days a week) to work for under 3-year-old age groups. Days essential needed to work will be Mondays, Fridays. We will also consider casual positions and must be available all week option!
The candidate MUST be knowledgeable and have experienced in educational learning platform and planning processes for the children. They must also be proactive to contribute to the educational program and always willing to learn.
We prefer not to be attached to a work/student placement please.

The successful candidate will be positive,passionate, committed and show initiative. You will have sound knowledge of the EYLF and NQS, have excellent written and verbal communication skills and have experience in an Education and Care Service. We seek for an individual who are willing to commit, learn and work harmoniously with their team.

Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards)
Current Victorian Working with Children Check
Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates
Completion of Child Protection / PROTECT training
Strong understanding of the Child Secure Standards and National Quality Framework (NQF)
