Customer Operations & Business Development Manager

About the role We are looking for a Customer Operations & Business Development Manager to lead our Customer Service team and help grow transport booking volumes across key customer segments. Reporting to the GM Customer, you will drive service performance, strengthen customer relationships and identify new opportunities across dealers, brokers, wholesalers, fleets, rental companies and OEMs. You will:

- Lead and coach a customer-focused team.
- Improve response times, service quality and ownership.
- Identify growth opportunities by customer, region and transport lane.
- Convert enquiries and market opportunities into profitable bookings.
- Work with Operations to align customer demand with capacity.
- Provide market insights to support pricing, planning and growth.

About you You are a commercially minded customer leader with experience in transport, logistics, customer service, sales or business development. You bring:





- People leadership or team supervision experience.
- Strong customer and stakeholder management skills.
- Transport or logistics industry knowledge.
- Confidence identifying, developing and converting recent opportunities.
- Commercial awareness across routes, capacity, pricing and customer needs.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach.
