The Shire of Mt Marshall is seeking an experienced, motivated and community-focused Deputy Chief Executive Officer to join their Executive Leadership Team.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this is a diverse and rewarding leadership position responsible for overseeing the Shire's corporate and community services, governance and project delivery functions. The successful applicant will play a key role in supporting the CEO, driving organisational performance and delivering positive outcomes for our community.
The role will include:
Providing strategic leadership across corporate community services.
Leading capital projects (excluding roads) from planning through to delivery.
Supporting governance, procurement, risk management and statutory compliance.
Managing community development initiatives, recreation services and grant funded projects.
Preparing reports, policies and recommendations for Council.
Building positive relationships with staff, Councillors, community groups and external agencies.
Acting as Chief Executive Officer when authorised.

Commencing salary range from $130,000 - $140,000 plus superannuation (dependent on qualifications and experience), as well as heavily subsidised Shire housing, and the following incentives:

- 22 days annual leave (pro rata)
- Rent capped at $92 per week
- Relocation allowance of up to $4,000 (for successful applicants relocating from outside of the Shire)
