Senior Laboratory Technician - Soils Testing

Based in Baulkham Hills, we are looking for a responsible and experienced individual to join our team as aSenior Laboratory Technician working mainly in soils testing. Working as part of a team, this role reports directly to the appropriate Section Head and indirectly to the Laboratory Manager.

What you day will look like:

- Conduct testing on quarry and recycled material accordance with laboratory work instructions, AS and RMS test methods, preparation instructions and manuals.
- Prescribed calibrations and checks of laboratory test equipment.
- Maintain, observe, and participate in the statutory Safety requirements of the Laboratory.
- Maintenance of the Laboratory NATA accreditation requirements.
- Other duties as directed by the Section Head and Laboratory Manager.

What we are looking for:

- A commitment to safety and quality
- Experience with AS1289 & TfNSW test methods




- Well-developed skills and understanding of computer systems for monitoring and reporting of data such as QestLab (in soils)
- Knowledge of Australian and Industry testing standards
- Solid analytical skills and a customer focus
