The Role
We are currently seeking OOSH Assistants to join the teams at several of our successful and well-established services across the Maitland and Cessnock regions.
These opportunities will be offered on casual basis, working across our before and after school programs and vacation care programs.
You must be available to work afternoon shifts at least twice a week.
Responsibilities
As an OOSH Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Supervising children’s play, ensuring their physical safety while promoting and guiding positive behaviour
- Assisting the developing and implementing programs that offer a diverse range of experiences to promote children’s independence, social skills,
learning, and development.
EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA
- Computer literacy in order to document examples of learning stories
- Experience in an OOSH service(desirable)
QUALIFICATIONS
- Working with Children Check verification number
- Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training (desirable)
