Project Manager - Shopfitting Construction

Retail Outfit is a successful, family-run shopfitting business based in Thomastown. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality retail and commercial fitouts with a personal touch. We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager with a solid background in shopfitting and construction to join our growing team.

About the Role

As our Project Manager, you will take ownership of projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. You’ll coordinate with clients, trades, suppliers, and our internal team to make sure every fitout runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage all aspects of shopfitting projects from planning to handover
- Liaise with clients to understand their needs and maintain strong relationships
- Schedule and coordinate trades, materials, and equipment
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and quality standards




- Ensure compliance with WHS regulations and company procedures
- Solve problems quickly and effectively to keep projects on track

About You

- Minimum 5+ years' experience in project management within shopfitting or commercial construction
- Strong understanding of joinery, fitout processes, and site operations
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to lead teams and build positive working relationships
- A proactive, hands-on approach with attention to detail
