Are you an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with a passion for helping people recover and optimise their health? We’re seeking an exceptional Exercise Physiologist to join our dedicated team at Geelong Rehabilitation Centre. This is a casual role with the opportunity to progress into a full-time position, based in Belmont, Victoria—offering a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.
What you'll be doing
- Deliver high-quality exercise rehabilitation programs tailored to individual patient needs
- Assess patients' physical, functional and exercise capacity, and develop personalised treatment plans
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, modifying programs as required
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure integrated, holistic patient care
- Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on exercise, lifestyle and self-management strategies
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records in line with professional and organisational standards
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or equivalent, with full ESSA accreditation
- Ideally 1 + years' experience as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist. Preferably with high experience within a clinical rehabilitation setting
- Excellent assessment, clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients
- Adaptable and patient-centred approach to deliver tailored, evidence-based care
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
