About the role

Lime Recruitment is currently seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient 365 Developer Lead to join our team for a 12-month contract based in the heart of Brisbane CBD. This pivotal role offers the potential for extension and places you at the helm of a dynamic RAR service-line pod, where you will provide essential guidance to a multidisciplinary team of Business Analysts, Functional Analysts, and fellow Developers. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between high-level solution architecture and granular project execution, ensuring that complex business requirements are transformed into robust, scalable technical outcomes.

What you'll do

- Provide expert technical leadership and day-to-day management for a specialized service-line pod focused on Dynamics 365 implementations.
- Translate intricate business needs and high-level solution architecture designs into transparent, actionable, and well-structured project roadmaps.
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, maintainable software solutions that align with organizational objectives.
- Act as the primary technical liaison between stakeholders and the development team to ensure project requirements are thoroughly understood and accurately documented.
- Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle, ensuring that all code meets rigorous quality standards and performance benchmarks.
- Facilitate effective communication across the pod, ensuring that Business Analysts and Functional Analysts are fully integrated into the technical delivery process.




- Monitor project progress against established timelines, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to keep delivery on track.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in software engineering, including code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows.
- Collaborate with solution architects to refine technical designs and ensure that proposed solutions are fit-for-purpose within the existing enterprise ecosystem.
- Manage the technical backlog, ensuring that tasks are appropriately prioritised based on business value and technical dependencies.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions to align development efforts with the broader goals of the RAR service-line.
- Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous professional development.

Requirements

- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on professional experience specifically within the Dynamics 365 development ecosystem.
- Demonstrated success in a formal leadership or team lead capacity, with the ability to influence and guide technical staff.
- A deep, comprehensive understanding of solution architecture principles and their practical application in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong proficiency in business analysis methodologies,



allowing you to effectively interpret and translate stakeholder requirements into technical specifications.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a quick-paced, contract-based project environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on delivering efficient and scalable technical solutions.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of documentation and code quality throughout the development process.

Nice to have

- Prior experience delivering technical projects within the government or public sector environment.
- Strong familiarity with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban frameworks.
- Experience with Power Platform integration and its synergy with Dynamics 365 environments.
- Previous involvement in large-scale digital transformation projects involving legacy system migration.

Skills & tools

- Advanced proficiency in Dynamics 365 (CE/CRM) and the broader Microsoft ecosystem.
- Extensive experience with Azure DevOps for project management, version control, and CI/CD pipeline configuration.
- Strong programming background with deep knowledge of C# and JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of the full software development life cycle (SDLC) and its application in enterprise settings.
- Experience with web service integration (REST/SOAP) and API management within the Microsoft stack.
