Location: Gold Coast (Tweed Heads South)

We're a premium Australian health food company with an established eCommerce business, a loyal customer base and ambitious plans for growth.

Having built a solid foundation, we're now looking for an experienced General Manager to lead the business through the growth phase.

This is not a role for someone who simply wants to maintain the status quo. It's an opportunity for a commercially minded leader who enjoys building businesses, solving problems, making sound decisions and creating the systems, capability and discipline that allow a business to scale.

Working closely with the founders, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the business while helping shape its future direction. You'll have genuine autonomy, influence over key decisions and the opportunity to build an organisation that is stronger, more efficient and well positioned for long-term growth.

About the role

You’ll provide commercial and operational leadership across the business, ensuring the various functions work together around clear priorities and consistent execution.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Monitoring business performance, profitability and cash flow
- Working with the founders and leadership team to support commercial decision making
- Reviewing budgets, reporting and marketing performance to drive better business outcomes

Operational Excellence

- Leading the day-to-day operation of the business
- Improving systems, processes and operational efficiency
- Overseeing Shopify, business systems and technology platforms
- Supporting inventory planning and supply chain performance

Leadership & People





- Leading managers across operations & sales
- Building accountability, alignment and continuous improvement across the business
- Supporting HR, recruitment and team development

Growth & Projects

- Leading key business improvement initiatives
- Driving projects that improve capability, scalability and performance
- Identifying opportunities to strengthen the business as it continues to grow

What success looks like

In your first 12-24 months, you’ll help:

- Improve profitability and cash flow
- Build scalable systems and processes
- Strengthen leadership capability across the business
- Improve operational efficiency and accountability
- Position the business for its next stage of sustainable growth

About you

You’ll likely have experience in a senior operations, general management or commercial leadership role and enjoy working across multiple areas of a growing business.

More importantly, you’re someone who enjoys bringing clarity to complexity. You can see where improvements can be made, make confident commercial decisions and build the systems and people needed to support sustainable growth.

You’ll bring:

- Solid commercial and financial acumen
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
- Confidence making decisions and solving complex business problems




- Experience improving systems, processes and operational performance
- A hands-on approach—you enjoy rolling up your sleeves when needed
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead across multiple departments
- Experience with eCommerce, ERP or business software (Shopify, Xero, Cin7 or similar) is highly regarded

Remuneration package will be negotiated based on experience, capability and track record. Performance incentives are available, with equity participation for the right candidate.
