We are looking for a Full Time Bar/Beverage Manager to join our team at Pony!

About us:

We are a small restaurant in Armadale with a big personality, for our community as a part of our community. We work closely, move quickly, and keep things simple — good food, good wine, good people. We are looking for someone to maintain and contribute to our evolving beverage offering. We don't need an extensive bible of back vintage and a whos who of prem cru's, we want a breathing and living list of interesting finds and classic bottles that satisfy our community but can call to those pallets wanting to experience a bit more!

The role:

Adapt our wine menu and cocktail lists based on seasonality, trends, and guest feedback. You’ll be responsible for creating and maintaining seasonal house cocktails, including prep instructions and recipes.

Maintain high standards of bar cleanliness and organization. Manage all beverage ordering (wine, spirits, garnishes, ice)



and ensure back-of-house operations—including inventory tracking and cost management—are seamless.

Lead, train, and mentor our team. You will be the driving force behind their bev development, ensuring they are knowledgeable, engaged, and aligned with our restaurant values.

Drive profitability by maintaining clear targets set by ownership

Foster connections by meeting current producers, hosting special events (pairings, wine club, etc.), and ensuring our beverage program remains a highlight for our guests.

We are looking for someone who:

- Has strong leadership and communication skills
- Has a passion for hospitality, guests and the community
- Can maintain a high standard of service and guest engagement
- Is passionate, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and has WSET qualifications
