Holmesglen Private are currently on the lookout for an experienced Clinical Coder or HIM to join their team on a permanent full-time basis. If you are someone
- Passionate about clinical coding and able to jump straight into a coding role
- Enjoys coming into the office
- Likes paper medical records and reading doctor’s handwriting

If so, we would love you to join our Health Information Services team as a Clinical Coder / Health Information Manager at Holmesglen Private Hospital, Healthscope.

About Holmesglen Private Hospital
Holmesglen Private is located in Moorabbin, South Eastern region of Melbourne.
Holmesglen Private is a state of the art 147 bed hospital, comprising of a 24/7 Emergency Department, 6 bed Intensive Care Unit, 9 bed specialised Coronary Care Unit, 12 bay Day Infusion Unit and 5 specialised inpatient units. – including Oncology, Urology, ENT, Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery, Interventional Cardiology and Rehabilitation Services.
The Role:
- Coding, coding, and more coding!
- Collaborate with our fabulous Clinical Documentation Specialist team
- Participate in education and quality activities
- Other responsibilities, such as mandatory reporting are available if that is of interest to you
- Qualification in Clinical Coding or Health Information Management
- Experience in clinical coding within an acute hospital setting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant experience against the current Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope - VIC - Allied Health Professionals Enterprise Agreement”
