About Us

The DO Salon is a tight-knit team based in a beautiful park-side location in St Kilda, just moments from Albert Park Lake, the beach, and surrounded by cafés, bars, and restaurants.

We’re more than just a salon, we’re a little family and a St Kilda icon, proudly operating for over 15 years. Under new ownership, we’re entering an exciting new chapter focused on growth, creativity, education, and an amazing team culture.

Inside the salon, our focus is beautiful hair, teamwork, and great banter. Outside the salon, we value health and wellbeing (we even have our own salon run club!), balanced with the occasional after-work drink.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Stylist who is confident in both colouring and cutting.

OPTIONAL SATURDAYS - You can choose between working Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday

You’ll be working with a loyal clientele, creating everything from beautiful blondes and colour work to precision cuts and styling. Experience with hair extensions is a bonus, but not essential.

We pride ourselves on delivering a personalised, premium salon experience, including treatments, professional product recommendations, and exceptional client care.

What You’ll Do





- Colour work (blondes, regrowths, toning, all-over colour)
- Women’s (long & short hair length)
- Blow waves and styling
- Client consultations and rebooking
- Deliver exceptional customer service and client care

What We’re Looking For

- Strong experience in both cutting and colouring
- Great pace, attention to detail, and professionalism
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
- Strong communication and client care skills

Experience with hair extensions (wefts and tapes) is highly regarded, but not essential.
