A high-quality, ASAVA-accredited small animal practice in Melbourne’s northeastern suburbs is seeking an experienced veterinarian to join their team on a part-time basis 2 days per week.

You will be joining a busy and well-established clinic with a loyal, long-term client base. There is a strong focus on delivering a high standard of veterinary care, without focusing on KPIs. This family-friendly practice has low staff turnover, with many staff members having been there for over 10 years.

Weekday shifts are either 8:30 am to 5:30 pm or 9:30 am to 7:30 pm. Full-time vets participate in a weekend rota of 1 in 3. Saturday shifts are 8 am to 5 pm, and Sundays are 9 am to 1 pm. There are two vets rostered on per day.

The employers encourage learning and special interests. Vets at the practice have special interests in surgery, behaviour, ophthalmology and feline medicine.



There is an abundance of knowledge within the clinic to train less experienced vets.

The practice is well equipped with in-house diagnostics, including blood machines, digital radiography, dental X-ray, ultrasound and Tonopen. All vet nurses at the practice are Cert IV qualified.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 2 years’ postgraduate experience, be good with clients, and have sound routine surgical skills.
