Management Accountant

Full-Time and or Part-Time

REDHS is seeking an experienced and motivated accounting professional with demonstrated experience in the healthcare, aged care, or community health sector to deliver accurate and compliant financial management, reporting, and analysis across our aged care and health services.

This pivotal leadership role is responsible for providing accurate, compliant, and insightful financial management that supports the delivery of high-quality health and aged care services. You will drive organisational performance through effective budgeting, funding optimisation, financial reporting, and analysis, while ensuring compliance with complex regulatory and funding requirements.

Working closely with the Executive team, you will provide strategic financial advice that informs key business decisions and supports service delivery outcomes. You will also lead a high-performing finance function and contribute to the organisation's long-term sustainability and values-driven culture.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a qualified accountant with experience working in a healthcare, aged care, hospital, community health, or government-funded service environment.

- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.
- Membership of a recognised professional accounting body (CPA or CA).
- Demonstrated experience in financial management, accounting, budgeting, and reporting.
- Strong technical accounting and financial management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication,



and leadership skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Experience using Magiq software (ERAD experience highly regarded).

Highly Desirable

- Experience in the healthcare, aged care, or community health sector.
- Knowledge of healthcare funding models, regulatory requirements, and compliance reporting.
- Experience working within a complex, government-funded environment.

We are a publicly funded Small Rural Health Service, providing a broad range of acute, residential aged care, preventative and primary health programs to a population of approximately 8,600 people from Rochester and surrounds.
