Two Rivers Wines at Denman are seeking a motivated and reliable Vineyard Hand to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our vineyard, ensuring the health and productivity of our vines. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work outdoors in a agile environment and contribute to the production of high-quality grapes.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Operate and maintain vineyard equipment, including tractors, sprayers, harvester, mowers, and pruning tools
- Assist with all aspects of vineyard management, including planting, pruning, canopy management, irrigation, and harvesting
- Monitor vine health and assist with pest and disease management, including the application of treatments as required
- Carry out general maintenance of vineyard infrastructure (Post's, irrigation systems, fencing, etc.)




- Record keeping and reporting on vineyard activities
- Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve vineyard goals

Selection Criteria

- Previous experience working in a vineyard or similar agricultural environment
- Demonstrated experience operating vineyard equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of pest and disease management in viticulture
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Chemical user accreditation (desirable)
- Forklift license (desirable)
