:

This role is aimed at ensuring Globe Mitre 10 Broken Hill customers and trades people have a excellent shopping experience.

We require people with a passion for retail with great customer services skills, exceptional personal presentation and the flexibility to do weekend work.

You will be required to work quickly, efficiently and with a skilled attitude in a very busy environment.

Some of your duties include but are not limited to:
Assist the delivery driver with deliveries to customers.
General yard maintenance & general cleaning duties.
Clean and keep tidy the products and racking in WH2.
Help maintain shelf inventory in your designated area and unpack delivered stock from pallets.
Measure and cut timber and trims as required.
Cut keys & refill gas bottles if required.
Assist in keeping the environment safe for customers and other employees.
Adhere to the high level of minimum standards documented for uniform and personal presentation.

Essential criteria (experience/skills)
Solid teamwork skills
Physically fit, with ability to lift products like timber, bags of cement etc
Good time management and prioritising skills
Self motivation and the ability to think on your feet
Respond well to leadership
Knowledge of Globe Mitre 10

Desirable requirements

Experience in a similar role

HR licence

Forklift licence

Knowledge of hardware or building trades
