Product Development Technologist (Human & Pet Nutrition)

Part-time (12 - 16 hours per week) | Hybrid | Yandina, Sunshine Coast

$35 - $40p/h + Super (depending on experience and agreed hours)

At Organic Collagen Australia, we've pioneered Australia's Certified Organic collagen category, are proudly exporting to the United States and have our sights firmly set on further global expansion.

At Collagenie, we've created the world's first Certified Organic collagen peptides for pets and are preparing for launch with the world's largest pet e-tailer.

Now we're looking for someone who wants to help build what's next.

Why this role is different

You’ll be involved in the full product development lifecycle - from concept and formulation through to commercial launch - across two premium wellness brands with global ambitions. You’ll work directly with founders, collaborate with Australian and international manufacturers, and help shape products destined for customers around the world.

You’ll be involved in

- Developing products from concept through to commercial launch
- Supporting formulation development and ingredient research
- Working with Australian and international manufacturers
- Coordinating laboratory testing and shelf-life studies




- Preparing technical documentation and product specifications
- Reviewing packaging artwork and regulatory compliance
- Supporting production trials and commercial manufacturing
- Maintaining the exceptionally high quality standards our brands are known for

Who you'll thrive as

You’ll probably have around 3-5 years' experience in food, nutrition, supplements or pet nutrition - but if you’ve got the right attitude, curiosity and drive, we're more interested in potential than perfection.

We're also passionate about creating opportunities for experienced professionals returning to the workforce. If you're looking for a flexible, meaningful role that fits around school hours while allowing you to continue building your career, we'd genuinely love to hear from you.

- Degree (or currently studying) in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, Animal Science or a related discipline
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Confidence using Microsoft Excel
- Experience in food, supplements or pet nutrition (highly regarded)

This role is expected to commence at 12 - 16 hours per week,
