About the Position

As a Hairdresser at The Men’s Grooming, you will be integral to providing high-quality barbering services that enhance our clients’ confidence and appearance.

This full-time role involves executing a range of men’s grooming techniques to deliver personalised and accurate results in a fast-paced barbershop environment. Your contributions will be key to maintaining our reputation for excellence, ensuring every visit exceeds client expectations,



and supporting a positive team dynamic focused on superior service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Performing classic men’s haircuts, precision fades, and styling using professional tools such as scissors, clippers, and razors
- Providing beard trims, shaping, moustache grooming, and hot towel shaves
- Offering expert advice on hairstyles, hair care routines, and grooming products tailored to client needs
- Shampooing hair, conditioning scalps, and addressing basic hair and scalp conditions
- Maintaining impeccable standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and salon presentation
- Delivering exceptional customer service to build lasting client relationships and loyalty
- Collaborating effectively with the team to manage appointments and achieve salon objectives

Requirements

- Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
- Minimum Certificate III in hairdressing or barbering
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a hairdresser
- Proficiency in men’s haircutting techniques, including fades and beard grooming
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage time effectively under pressure
- Professional presentation and a passion for men’s grooming
