Our services include bookkeeping, management accounting, taxation, tax planning, business advisory, cash flow management, SMSF support, entity structure advice, financial reporting and compliance support. We focus on providing practical accounting and taxation solutions to help clients maintain accurate financial records, meet their statutory obligations, understand their financial position and make informed business decisions.

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our senior level service team on a full-time basis. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, analysing financial and taxation information for clients, assisting with statutory compliance, preparing financial statements and tax returns, supporting business advisory work, and providing professional accounting support across a range of client matters.

This role is suited to a professional with strong technical knowledge in accounting, taxation, financial reporting, business compliance, accounting systems, budget analysis, cash flow management and client advisory services.

Hiring Type: Permanent Full-time

Salary Range: Above AUD82,000 + super/ per year

(The remuneration will depend on the skills, outcomes and experience you can deliver. )

Qualification Requirements:

- Above Master’s degree from Australia or overseas tertiary education provider is a must;




- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ relevant accounting experience in public practice or business services.
- Strong communication skills required, including proficiency in English and Mandarin.
- Hands-on public practice experience delivering end-to-end tax, BAS and financial reporting services for Australian SME.
- In-depth working knowledge of ATO legislation, payroll compliance, FBT, GST, PAYG and superannuation regulatory rules.
- Strong proficiency with cloud accounting platforms and advanced Excel for financial modelling and reconciliation.
- CPA/CA qualified or currently undertaking qualified accounting accreditation will highly regarded.
- Strong knowledge of Australian taxation law and compliance requirements.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills to deliver straightforward financial advice to non-financial business owners.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Roles and Responsibility:

This is a senior level accounting service role, with core duties including:

Conduct payroll reviews fully compliant with ATO standards, including superannuation contribution calculations and salary packaging deduction audits.

Prepare month-end accounting deliverables: cash flow statements, journal entries, ad-hoc performance reports, monthly budgets, balance sheets and formal management reporting packs.

Prepare,



reconcile and lodge all compliance documentation including Business Activity Statements (BAS), individual, company, partnership and super fund tax returns covering GST, PAYG instalments, PAYG withholding and all statutory tax obligations.

Design, update and refine internal financial workflows and general accounting procedures to boost operational efficiency and accuracy.

Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support for cloud-based accounting software systems used by internal teams and SME clients.

Compile complete financial statements (balance sheet, profit & loss, cash flow statements), conduct line-by-line account reviews and general ledger reconciliations, and deliver profitability, liquidity and financial health analysis to firm management and directors.

Prepare, validate and submit accurate annual Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) filings for all client entities.

Deliver customised professional taxation and structural advice to clients covering business setup, growth planning and daily operational financial optimisation.

Build robust financial control frameworks to protect client asset integrity, analyse operational expenses and track organisational income and expenditure trends.

Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors and support interim and year-end statutory audit procedures for all client portfolios.

Correspond and negotiate directly with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and other financial regulatory authorities as required for client compliance matters.

Identify legitimate tax minimisation opportunities, eligible claim deductions and profit-improvement strategies for individual and business clients.
