Join a market-leading Big 4 M&A; Tax team and take a senior role advising on some of Australia’s most significant real estate and investment transactions.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced tax professional to manage a premium portfolio of fund managers, asset managers, private equity houses and investment firms. You’ll work closely with leading investors and senior executives, providing commercially focused advice throughout the full investment lifecycle from acquisition and structuring through to refinancing, divestment and exit.

The opportunity

As a Senior Manager, you will take ownership of complex engagements while playing an important role in the continued growth and development of the practice. Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading tax due diligence, transaction structuring and advisory engagements
- Advising on acquisitions, disposals, restructures, refinancing and capital transactions
- Managing complex domestic and cross border matters across real estate, funds and alternative investments
- Providing strategic, commercially focused advice to senior client stakeholders
- Managing relationships with leading fund managers, asset managers, PE firms and institutional investors
- Identifying new opportunities and contributing to business development initiatives
- Working closely with Partners and broader legal, corporate finance, valuations and deals specialists
- Leading, mentoring and developing high performing teams
- Managing engagement delivery, budgets, timelines and commercial outcomes

About you

- Significant experience within M&A; tax, transaction tax,



corporate tax, real estate tax or funds
- A background in a Big 4, mid tier accounting firm, law firm or relevant commercial environment
- Solid technical tax knowledge and a proven ability to lead complex engagements
- Experience managing senior client relationships and developing new business
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
- A commercial mindset and the confidence to provide clear, practical advice
- CA, CPA, CTA or legal qualifications
- Manage a premium portfolio of real estate and investment clients
- Lead high value, complex and high profile M&A; transactions
- Work directly with respected Partners and senior industry stakeholdersDevelop specialist expertise across funds, asset management and private capital
- Build your market profile and contribute to the strategic growth of the practice
- Lead and develop a talented team of tax professionals
