Due to our continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, we are seeking an experienced Commercial Site Manager to join our team.

About the Role

This position will initially be based on a live commercial project on the Central Coast, with future projects located throughout the Central Coast, Newcastle and regional NSW.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of commercial construction projects valued up to $10 million, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all day-to-day site operations from project commencement through to completion.

Deliver projects safely, on time, within budget and to specification.

Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, suppliers and site personnel.

Develop, manage and update construction programs to achieve project milestones.

Lead daily pre-start meetings, toolbox talks and site inductions.

Ensure compliance with all WHS legislation, site safety plans and company policies.

Drive a strong safety culture across the project.

Manage Quality Assurance (QA) processes,



inspections, ITPs and defect management.

Monitor construction quality to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and Australian Standards.

Coordinate inspections, certifications and authority approvals.

Manage site logistics, programming and sequencing of works.

Procure and coordinate materials, plant and equipment.

Maintain accurate site records, daily diaries and project documentation.

Liaise with clients, consultants, project managers and key stakeholders.

Identify and resolve construction issues while minimising project risks and delays.

Monitor subcontractor performance and maintain productivity across the site.

Ensure a clean, organised and professional site at all times.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering commercial construction projects valued up to $10 million.

Robust leadership and people management skills.

Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving abilities.

Experience managing project programming and subcontractor coordination.

Sound understanding of Quality Assurance and WHS requirements.

Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.

A proactive, hands‑on approach with a commitment to delivering quality outcomes.

Previous commercial construction Site Manager or Senior Site Supervisor experience.

Current White Card.

Current Driver Licence.

First Aid Certificate.

Relevant trade qualification or tertiary qualification in Construction Management (preferred).
