Bidgerdii Community Health Services is an Aboriginaland Torres Strait Islander community controlled primary health care service,operating in the Rockhampton and wider Central Queensland region for more than30 years and our vision is for Healthy and Strong Aboriginal and Torres StraitIslander, children, families and communities – self – determining, culturallystrong, and thriving in their own way. Bidgerdii provides comprehensive primaryhealthcare and wellbeing services, collaborates with partner agencies forintegrated continuity of care and advocates for health policy and health systemreform. Our services include general practice bulk-billing clinics, social andemotional wellbeing and generalist counselling services, chronic diseasemanagement, preventative health screening, children and family health and earlychildhood education services.

About You

You are a compassionate GP who enjoys building long-term relationshipswith patients and providing holistic, team-based care.

Ideally you will have:

- Bachelor of Medicine,Bachelor of Surgery or equivalent (MBBS)
- Vocational Registration(FRACGP or FACRRM)
- Unconditional AHPRAregistration
- A commitment toculturally safe, patient-centered healthcare
- Strong communicationskills
- Experience managingacute and chronic conditions
- A collaborative approachto working within a multidisciplinary team
- An interest inpreventative health and chronic disease management
- A genuine interest inAboriginal health and culturally secure care
