Lifestyle Team Lead (Residential Aged Care)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and compassionate Lifestyle Team Leader to work in our close-knit Lifestyle team in delivering engaging, person-centred wellbeing programs for our residents. The goal is to enhance residents' physical, social, and emotional well-being through personalised care and engagement.

In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing residents' quality of life by planning and facilitating social, physical, and emotional activities tailored to individual needs, promote independence, and support wellbeing within our aged care community.

What You’ll Do

- Guide the Lifestyle team to deliver high-quality programs
- Implement meaningful, resident-focused lifestyle activities
- Ensure programs align with residents’ assessed preferences, abilities, and care plans
- Collaborate with clinical and care teams to support holistic care
- Maintain accurate documentation and evaluation and ensure compliance with aged care standards
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment for residents and staff
- Work under the direction of the Lifestyle team leader and Manager

About You

- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Cert IV in Lifestyle & Leisure, Diversional Therapy, or similar)
- Full working rights in Australia
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in aged care, ideally in lifestyle roles
- Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards




- Sound computer literacy and use of various software systems
- Passion for improving the wellbeing and quality of life of older people
- Strong written and verbale communication, and critical thinking skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for continuous improvement
- Immunisation, NDIS worker screening clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Computer literacy in MS Office.
- Registration with the Diversional Therapy Association.
- Personal interests/skills in music, art, craft etc.
