MYXA is seeking an Experienced Disability Support Worker to join our team. This is a casual position, providing flexible work arrangements to support our clients with a range of disability support services. As an experienced Disability Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in empowering individuals with disabilities to live independently and achieve their personal goals.

What you'll be doing

- Providing personalised support and assistance to clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and community access
- Collaborating with clients, families, and other care professionals to develop and implement individualised support plans
- Facilitating social and recreational activities to promote client well-being and community inclusion
- Maintaining detailed client records and documentation to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Advocating for client rights and ensuring a safe, supportive, and inclusive setting
- Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

What we’re looking for

- Significant experience (minimum 2 years) providing mental health supports
- Experienced in working with clients with challenging behaviours and complex support needs
- Alcohol and Other Drug experience




- Demonstrated understanding of person-centred approaches and the ability to empower clients to achieve their goals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work collaboratively with clients, families, and other stakeholders
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, with the ability to adapt to changing client needs
- A valid driver's licence
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, to meet the needs of our clients
