We are seeking experienced Maintenance Fitters to join a well-established and growing food manufacturing business. This is an excellent chance to become part of a high-performing maintenance team responsible for keeping a modern production facility operating at peak performance.

The Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, your responsibilities will include:





- Preventative and reactive maintenance across production equipment.
- Diagnosing and fault-finding mechanical breakdowns.
- Servicing conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Assisting with machinery installations and continuous improvement projects.
- Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime.
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to food manufacturing standards

About You

To be successful, you will have:

- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or Fitter & Turner.
- Previous experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or automated production environments (preferred).
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- A proactive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
