We're looking for a warm, organised and proactive Dental Receptionist to join our team in Abbotsford on a part-time basis, working Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

As the first person our patients meet - whether over the phone or at reception - you'll play an important role in creating the welcoming, supportive experience DentalFit is known for. You'll help patients feel at ease while ensuring the day runs smoothly for both our patients and clinical team.

This role is perfect for someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people, thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.

The Opportunity

As our Dental Receptionist, you'll help create a seamless experience for our patients while supporting the day-to-day operations of the practice.

- Welcoming patients with warmth and professionalism, creating a positive first impression from the moment they arrive.
- Managing appointments, recalls and confirmations to support an efficient patient journey and smooth clinic flow.
- Answering phone calls and responding to patient enquiries with confidence, care and professionalism.
- Processing payments and supporting the practice with general financial administration.




- Maintaining accurate patient records while ensuring confidentiality and privacy requirements are always met.
- Completing general administrative tasks including correspondence, data entry and document preparation.
- Providing administrative and operational support to our clinical team throughout the day.
- Assisting with the presentation and organisation of the reception and clinical areas as required.
- Contributing to a positive, organised and welcoming environment for both patients and your teammates.

About You

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people.

You're warm, organised, reliable and thrive on creating positive experiences. You communicate with confidence, remain calm under pressure and enjoy being part of a team that supports one another.

Ideally, you'll have:

- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a healthcare reception or customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence using practice management software and general computer systems.
- A professional, empathetic and patient-focused approach.
- The ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and willingness to learn.
- An interest in dentistry, health and wellbeing, with knowledge of dental terminology considered an advantage.




- A current Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one, is preferred.
