Experienced Civil Labourer - Northern Suburbs

Great opportunity to get on board with some of Melbourne's most Prominent Civil Construction Groups.

JV Recruitment currently has a massive push on Civil Construction; we have multiple projects starting throughout Melbourne’s Northern Suburbs. Suburbs include Epping, Mernda, Donnybrook, Craigieburn and Campbellfield.

There are various roles available from labourers to leading hand; with labourers requiring a minimum of 12 months experience in civil construction, leading hand roles available for experienced labourers with machine operating tickets that are looking to progress their career.

Our client is one of Victoria's most reputable Civil Infrastructure groups, having been prominent in the industry for over 40 years. With a number of projects running into late 2027, there are countless opportunities for consistent ongoing work, along with the chance of progression with our client in the longer term.

If you have recently completed your machine tickets and looking to gain experience in this area then JV Recruitment has the opportunity to build into this roles; with most of our labouring positions growing into operating roles within the first 6-12 weeks.

For the right candidates work will be ongoing with extensive opportunities for overtime paid at overtime rates with the high majority of our candidates progressing into full time roles.





These are immediate start positions.

ON OFFER

- $36.67 - $40 per hour (experience/role dependent) + super + coinvest
- Meal allowance included (over 9.5 hours on a shift)
- Additional Travel allowance ($22.41 per day)
- Time and a half and double-time rates paid for overtime
- On-going roles

ROLE DUTIES

Labouring duties include working alongside plant operators & site management, using a variety of tools; with duties such as running conduits, assisting plant operators and pit works.

Leading hand duties can vary from assisting in labouring duties, operating plant (with relevant tickets), running small teams of labourers and liaising with site management in order to plan future works.

Key requirements needed to apply

- White Card
- Full Australian work Rights
- Must be able to work well within a team environment
- 12 months construction experience is essential
- Background in civil construction
- Full PPE
- Relevant machinery tickets desired but not essential
- Transport is desirable but not essential
