Technical Manager | Food Safety & Quality, WHS & Environmental – based in VIC

At Ecowize, we’re specialists in food production cleaning and sanitation, partnering with some of Australia’s and New Zealand’s largest food manufacturers.

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Manager who thrives on solving complex technical challenges, building trusted customer relationships and leading operational excellence across food safety, quality, sanitation and compliance.

Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you’ll work alongside our Group Technical & Compliance Manager to provide expert technical leadership across multiple customer sites while influencing best practice throughout the business.

What you’ll be doing

Lead complex food safety, sanitation and technical investigations across multiple customer sites.

Partner with Operations Managers and customer Technical teams to deliver best-practice food safety and sanitation outcomes.

Lead HACCP implementation, validation, verification and technical compliance activities.

Work with operational leaders, building continued technical capability across the business.

Lead customer, regulatory and certification audits and provide expert technical guidance.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance food safety,



operational performance and customer outcomes.

Provide expert technical advice and influence decision-making across Operations.

As many of our customer sites operate on night shift, this role requires travel and site visits as needed to provide technical leadership and support.

What you’ll bring

Demonstrated experience within food manufacturing, food safety, quality or technical leadership.

Strong expertise in HACCP, GMP, sanitation and food safety management systems.

Experience leading customer, regulatory and certification audits.

Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex technical issues and investigations.

Outstanding communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the business.

A practical, commercially focused approach with a passion for continuous improvement
