About the role

We are seeking a Vehicle Handover Specialist to join our team at our North Lakes QLD location on a casual basis. This is a critical customer-facing role that serves as the final touchpoint in the vehicle purchase journey. As a Vehicle Handover Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring customers receive their new vehicles in perfect condition whilst providing them with comprehensive guidance on vehicle features, operation and aftercare. Your role is essential in creating a lasting positive impression and building customer loyalty from the moment they take delivery of their vehicle.

Key responsibilities

- 1. Conducting thorough vehicle inspections before handover to ensure all features are in perfect working order and meet quality standards
- 2. Providing comprehensive product knowledge to customers, including vehicle features, controls, safety systems and technology
- 3. Guiding customers through the vehicle handover process in a professional and friendly manner
- 4. Demonstrating key vehicle functions and explaining warranty coverage, service intervals and maintenance requirements
- 5. Ensuring all vehicle documentation is complete and accurately provided to customers
- 6.



Addressing customer questions and concerns with patience and expertise
- 7. Working collaboratively with sales and service teams to ensure seamless customer transitions

What we're looking for

- 1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to diverse customers
- 2. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
- 3. Reliability and professionalism with the ability to represent Lakes Hyundai positively
- 4. Knowledge of automotive vehicles or willingness to develop product knowledge quickly
- 5. Ability to work flexibly on a casual basis, including weekends and public holidays as required
- 6. Physical capability to conduct vehicle inspections and walk customers through vehicles
- 7. Customer-focused mindset with genuine enthusiasm for helping others
- 8. Previous experience in retail, automotive or customer service roles is advantageous but not essential
- 9. Valid Australian driver's licence
