Locum General Medicine CMO/Registrar/SRMO - Hawkesbury Hospital
The Opportunity: Hawkesbury Hospital is seeking a Locum General Medicine CMO, Registrar or SRMO to provide ward cover. This role is suited to a doctor with recent General Medicine experience who is confident supporting ward-based care, patient reviews, clinical documentation, management planning and escalation of care where required.
Clinical Environment:
General Medicine ward cover at Hawkesbury Hospital. Day shift coverage, generally 08:00 - 16:30. Suitable for CMO, Registrar or SRMO-level doctors. Supportive hospital setting with escalation pathways available. Doctors approved for all areas of the hospital may be re-allocated during their shift due to operational requirements.
Key Duties:
- Provide General Medicine ward cover
- Review patients and support management plans
- Complete documentation and handover
- Escalate clinical concerns appropriately
- Work collaboratively with nursing, allied health and medical teams
Eligibility Criteria:
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Recent General Medicine experience at CMO, Registrar or SRMO level
- Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
- Ability to work safely within scope and escalation appropriately
- Current CV, references and compliance documents as required
